Dear friends and colleagues,
AEDA invites you to join our association, the principal aim of which is to strengthen the profession, reflected in the following lines of work:
-To promote, improve and disseminate oral narration in any of the languages spoken within the different linguistic communities of Spain.
-To give visibility to the craft and find a common voice.
-To foster the collation and development of documents about the craft of storytelling.
-To create areas of reflection and research on the craft and promote training, exchange and contact between oral narration professionals.
-To promote cooperation and dialogue with other stage disciplines such as festivals, circuits, publications, the media and other organizations (universities, literary research professionals, etc)
-To publicize and inform about questions relating to the professional activity of those who narrate and their conditions of work.
-To strengthen, boost and improve the image of the spoken word and its professionals.
We believe that the more members we have, the stronger we will be and the more our voice will be heard. For that reason, the New Members Commission would like to open its doors to you and get to know you, and for you get to know us better. Perhaps together we can improve our work and professional status. For that reason, if you are a professional in the storytelling sphere, please do not hesitate to contact us.
To form part of this association, the assembly values the following points:
-To be able to issue invoices as an oral narrator: be officially registered as a self-employed narrator for tax purposes or to be legally contracted to that end.
-That oral narration should be a fundamental part of your professional activities (currently and throughout your career.)
-Participation in events, festivals, circuits, and storytelling marathons.
-Articles, reviews, reflection, training, ethics... everything that you have done which is relevant to our field of work.
The membership fee is 25€ a month during the first year (12 payments) and 10 € a month in the following years.
